    • This isn’t just a “long session.” It’s a purposeful, structured experience that integrates the depth of EMDR therapy, nervous-system regulation, and relational healing, with fewer appointments, deep momentum, and real transformation.

    • You’re ready to commit and give yourself the time, space, and container to transform.

    • Research supports intensive therapy formats: Studies show that intensive EMDR programs produce large effect sizes in reducing PTSD, depression, and anxiety symptoms — and the gains are often maintained (citation). Most research focuses on trauma, the principles hold for nervous-system dysregulation, relational healing, and high-functioning emotional work.

  • This intensive includes 3 days of in person sessions. Sessions are scheduled a week apart to allow time for treatment planning and breaks for processing between sessions.

    Session 1 – Intake & Preparation (90 minutes)

    Session 2 – Processing (3 hours)

    Session 3 – Integration & Follow-Up (90 minutes)

  • An EMDR therapy intensive might be a good fit for:

    • Clients who want deep shifts now rather than slower incremental change.

    • Those whose week-to-week schedule makes traditional weekly therapy difficult to sustain.

    • People who’ve done some therapy before and want to accelerate progress, or those in therapy and feel stalled out or stuck.

    • Clients who want more than symptom relief, you’re ready for foundational change.

    • Individuals who can commit to three appointments in dedicated blocks and ready for focused and concentrated work.

    • Those who are in acute crisis or instability (a weekly therapy rhythm may be a safer fit).

    • Clients who prefer minimal commitment or who don’t feel ready to do deeper work.

    • Those who exhibit a higher level of dissociation would not be a good fit for an EMDR intensive.

    • When we assess for that on Day 1 and it’s determined that dissociation levels currently too high, we’ll discuss options for you to get the appropriate help that you need. Fees for Day 1 will be collected and a partial refund of the remaining deposit will be given.

    • An intensive can create meaningful and impactful changes for you. Many clients want to continue building on what they learned during our time together, either with me or with their current therapist. Some clients need time to integrate what they’ve learned and pause treatment for a time. There’s no right or wrong answer, it’s whichever path feels right to you and your nervous system.

    • Intensives don’t replace weekly therapy rather, it can be adjunct to established therapy. They can accelerate progress or help create a breakthrough if therapy feels stuck.

    • Many clients choose to follow the intensive with weekly sessions to deepen and strengthen what shifts occurred. Others feel ready for bi-weekly or as-needed check-ins. Either way, you’ll leave with clarity, momentum, and a clear plan forward.
