Psychotherapy & EMDR | Charlotte, NC

Anxiety. Burnout. Relationship Stress. Trauma. Postpartum & Motherhood.

You’re not crazy. You’re not broken. You’re stuck in survival.

Those survival patterns might show up as over functioning, burnout, chronic anxiety, lingering depression and stress in your relationships. These are often outdated ways of coping that began in childhood, shaped by growing up too soon, too fast, emotional neglect or trauma. They began out of necessity, but now you’re left feeling resentful, exhausted, disconnected and sometimes invisible.

And underneath the constant busyness, there's a quiet grief that no one really sees how much you carry.

At Liminal Psych, we understand the invisible weight you’re carrying. Therapy is a place dedicated solely to you, where you can set the expectations and demands of others at the door - and breathe.

Together, we’ll find the clarity you need, learn to set boundaries without guilt, let go of perfectionism, & build confidence in your ability to use your voice so you can feel fulfilled, seen and known.

How I Help

Therapy designed to meet the unique
mental health needs of women and mothers.

  • You're constantly thinking, planning, managing.

You appear calm and capable, but inside you're wired, tense, and exhausted. It’s the kind of anxiety that lives in your body like a motor propelling you through the day.

Therapy can help you understand what anxiety is attempting to do for you, and learn new ways to gain a sense of safety and calm.

  • You do more than your share—in your relationship, at work, in your family.

You anticipate needs, avoid conflict, and take care of everything… except yourself. This kind of over functioning often begins in childhood, where love was earned through self-sacrifice.

We’ll explore how those patterns formed, how they show up now, and how to begin setting boundaries without losing connection. It’s possible to stop over-giving and still have value and worth.

  • Your story may not seem “traumatic” on paper, but your body remembers otherwise.

You may have learned to minimize, push through, or stay strong, but inside, there are parts of you still waiting to be seen, soothed, and understood.

We’ll gently explore your story through relational safety, nervous system awareness, and inner parts work. We’ll get to know what you needed then and now to feel safe, so you can live fully in the present.

  • Motherhood changes everything—and no one prepares you for the emotional unraveling that can come with it. You may feel anxious, numb, resentful, or like you’ve lost pieces of yourself.

Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, or years into motherhood, we create space for your full emotional reality. Together, we make sense of your experience, reconnect with your identity, and help you feel less alone in the complexity of it all.

You don’t need more coping skills, you need clarity, nervous-system safety, and a therapist who can work at the level the problem lives and at a pace that feels right to you.

I specialize in trauma-informed work with women struggling with burnout, overwhelm, frustrating relational patterns, motherhood challenges, and navigating major life transitions. You need a therapist who can hold complexity, move gently, and still help you make tangible progress.

My approach is depth-oriented and interactive, offering insight and support, while blending EMDR, IFS/parts work, and attachment-based therapy to help you get to the root of what you’re struggling with.

Welcome to Liminal Psych,
I’m so glad you’re here!

Because you can be highly capable and exhausted.
Both deserve care.
